MISSION STATEMENT Old GLory Radio News/Talk AM 1650 exists for one purpose. To give the citizens of the Eureka area a voice.

TRANSMITTER INFORMATION Old GLory Radio is operating at 1650 on your AM dial and covering Eureka/Myrtletown Ca., under FCC Part 15 Regulations and using the following FCC Part 15 certified transmitter and attached unit certification. The Hamilton Rangemaster AM1000 AM transmitter is certified by the FCC (FCC certification number NWXAM1000) . We operate at the legal power and antenna configuration as outlined under FCC Part 15 regulations governing low power (LPAM) community AM radio transmission.

Part 15 of the FCC regulations governs low power AM Stations (commonly called LPAM)and restricts the broadcast power and antenna height. Old GLory Radio is going to great pains to make sure all equipment is FCC certified and compliant. Our primary local coverage is the Myrtletown and East Eureka area, however, AM waves love to travel over water,,,,we are getting reports that the signal is going up the bay and into Arcata. Estimated population coverage 25,000 listeners. Although we do not plan to format any music programs, The Old GLory does pay all music license fees. Old GLory Radio AM broadcast is carried live via our internet streaming as well as carried by virtually every major podcasting re-distribution service.
