…you are a pathetic shock jock, run-of-the-mill wanna be know it all, full of old “Just Say No” fear mongering talk, believing you are educated on these issues - you either are too lazy to seek enlightenment and learn/accept/be a part of change for the betterment of all or you just don’t care. Either way, you lose.

Considering the drug money that is buying our politicians up here this is to be expected. Funny how the government wants to keep cigs and booze away from kids in the name of public health, but to buy votes and pick up some cash they are willing to tell the kids that smoking dope is ok.

Yeah, right. Kids can’t get pot in Humboldt County because it’s so hard to find.
The government shouldn’t be selling marijuana, but it’s silly to think that medical marijuana dispensaries make marijuana more available to children. Kids aren’t buying their pot from those establishments. Pot is super easy to get anywhere in this country and it would be really hard to make it more available than it already is in Humboldt County. Your death and destruction talk is just nonsense.
Someday we’re going to end up completely legalizing marijuana and regulating it similar to the way we regulate alcohol. People like you will go into panic mode and have your little hissy fits, but within a few years people will see that the sky isn’t going to fall in and before long most everyone will be wondering why we didn’t legalize it a long time ago. The government cannot make pot hard to find. They can’t make it too expensive for the average person to use regularly if he so chooses. They aren’t really deterring anyone from using it either. Most pot smokers will never get caught and if they do all they get is a slap on the wrist, unless they have medical marijuana cards in which case they don’t even get their pot confiscated. If people want to smoke pot, they’re already smoking it. Precious few out there want to smoke pot but don’t just because it is illegal. All we are doing is wasting a fortune trying in vain to keep up the ban on pot, enriching organized crime to the tune of many billions of dollars a year, and causing all sorts of other problems in the process. We’re doing way more harm than good keeping marijuana illegal.
