Wrong,wrong,wrong You first come off as an a55hole, and then you have no clue. What’s your point other than be a snob assed Left-coaster. See, I labelled you like you did us. The town meeting was stacked, and no matter what was said being the other, it was biased for Obama. I only know a handfull of people that like Obama(or even Bush), but nobody wanted the first and nobody wants the second stimulus package. I’m in the RV industry, and I know. The problem with the RV industry, or any industry for that matter is, banks aren’t lending. Our company has dealers that cannot sell because of this. We know over 500 orders are on hold, and are waiting to be produced, due to financing problems. These are from people and dealers with AAA+++ credit. Nobody is lending, and we know it. If your advertisers couldn’t get loans to pay for your show sponsorship, you’d cut back your broadcast hours. This place isn’t the dumbest community in the US. It’s no egghead town either, but I lived in Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, WDC, and a bunch of others, but real stupidity is in the San Fran area. They take the cake by a great margin. Especially their elected leaders being a bunch of Leftist Socialist whack jobs.

You are wrong!!!! Elkhart and the state of Indiana is mostly republican! And if you look at the history of our voting ELKHART gave it’s vote to McCain. So we didn’t ask for this, it was thrust upon us. As far as us not knowing why we aren’t selling RV’s, we know. It’s because of all of the dumb people out there who bought houses and got loans they couldn’t afford (you probably being one of them) and the banks that gave them to them. Now the people who really need to get loans (even if they have good credit) can’t because all the real “dumbest people in America” screwed us. And get your facts straight! Not all RV’s are towed behind cars, those are called towables or 5th wheels. We also make class A motorhomes which you drive. The gas, banks not giving out credit, and people having no money are why we’re not selling. Same reason their not buying anything else. Oh and we probably made the manufactured house that your living in too you idiot!!!!!!! Think before you speak.

My appologies for being so harsh in my last post. I left an emotional reply and should not have made some of the remarks I did. No one likes to be considered dumb, myself being one. There are a lot of very educuated people living and working here in Elkhart and we are all just trying to make a living and get through this difficult time.

You are an idiot. Elkhart County voted for McCain. Elkhart County pleaded with Congress to expand drilling and refining. Elkhart County has been developing lighter-weight RVs. Elkhart County is not looking for a government handout.
Elkhart County wants to continue to sell RVs to people who will drive to see the ocean. Hopefully, while they are there, they will empty their septic tanks in your yard.
