The local Arcata California University radio station KHSU came under fire this week amid a hasty management resignation over uber-liberal programming. There is a new sheriff in town…meet Vice President, Rob Gunsalus.
HSU, a Berkeley wanna-be pot cultured institution is railing against the Vice President for….wearing a tie…… Demanding responsibility……Parents, listen to the broadcast. 08/01/08
Follow Up: 5 Aug - As I expected there have been quite a few letters in regard to this posting. Below are some of the more interesting.

Thank you for your report. It is sad to see a college administration so lost in their own world that they are willing to throw away the kids. Thank God that some people like this Vice President are not afraid to at least try and set an example.

KHSU tells the truth about people like you and the military. They are baby killers and it is the responsibility of the University to teach that. KHSU is just doing the job we want it to. There will never be another point of view on KHSU. We, the studtents will see to that. Just try buddy. Just try and see what happens.

Wrap up Aug 6th - I want to relate a little story for you parents out there that find this article in the future when considering this area for your children. In today’s newspaper there is a story about a young man who did the right thing….threw out two room mates whe were growing pot. They came back with five others with guns. The lesson here is, no matter how well you have raised your child to do the right thing, you are throwing them into a situation you should be aware of. Neither the city governments, county government, local police …or the University will protect them, they will however protect the drug culture. Always follow the money……..
