UPDATE May 27th 2008:- All information was turned over to the Humboldt Co Dept. of Public Health this morning. Of interest, in true government fashion, the person taking the information asked what the problem was and didn’t want to touch the example I brought, instead asking me to describe it in “my own words”. I held it up for her to smell and she wouldn’t come near it. “well gee”, I said, “how about Chinese candy being sold to our kids like this”, at which time I let it drop on the formica counter….. where it stuck. They didn’t seem very interested until I related that it was on the internet on a number of websites.
