					<description>This seems like about the unlikeliest match in recent political history, especially since, last I knew, Keyes had left the GOP and was stll running for President.

I will say, it's one of the most interesting suggestions I've heard.

I don't think he'd accept if asked at this point.  Not that I think Juan McVain will ask him.  

For one thing, McCain does  have a bit of an ego and he needs someone lower key than Keyes as his running mate.  (J.C. Watts, maybe?)

However, it does show just how desperate Juan McVain is to keep conservtiives in The Big Tent (as a sideshow.)</description>
